Teleca in China 

In June 2007, Teleca opened a second office in China to complement its technical center in Beijing: the APAC Outsourcing Center in Chengdu. This office is located in Tianfu Software Park, part of the government sponsored Chengdu Hi-Tech (CDHT) Zone. Offshore software services from Beijing and Chengdu are offered to customers based in China along with global customers based in North America, Europe and Asia. Typically, offshore services will be combined with local services offered by Teleca offices close to the customer. There are more than 100 engineers today, and the target is to establish a team of more than 300 staff over the next few years with a client-driven technology focus on Microsoft Windows Mobile, Symbian & S60 and open source (Linux) software.

Offerings include systems integration, test and software development, adaptation and variant projects, and China-specific software solutions including TD-SCDMA. The staff of the Chengdu site receives training through international assignments and internal transfers, and there is an established university program with Sichuan University.
