Over the recent two years we have made three big bets at Teleca.

Our first big bet was to shift our focus to open systems and open source. In addition to our strong presence in the Symbian domain we have invested to take a leading role in the Linux space. The outcome today is a long list of assignments across the mobile Linux initiatives Android, Maemo and Limo. We have a very clear target of becoming the natural choice for all companies seeking Linux and mobile expertise – and we are well on the way.

The second bet focused around user experience. Today we have a strong team of dedicated experts who can support our clients in design and implementation of best in class user experiences. In this issue of Teleca Talk we will discuss this in much detail.

Our third bet focused on creating a set-up that would allow our customers an optimal combination of closeness and cost efficiency. We have today local sites in most locations where the mobile and Internet industries are active, and we can supply high quality and scale from our four offshore centers in India, Russia, China and Poland.
